|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob (Google Ireland Ltd.) |
| Apple Game Center | Clasificación y logros (opcional). | Si inicias sesión, Apple asocia tu puntuación y tus logros a tu cuenta de Game Center. Nosotros no recibimos tu correo ni tu nombre real. Política de Apple. |
- Consentimiento: publicidad personalizada y notificaciones.
- Cualquier otra cosa: escríbenos a marcosnovo@gmail.com.

Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 October 2026 · Applies to the Rumming iOS app
(bundle identifier com.marcosnovo.Rummy).
In short: Rumming doesn't ask you for an account, doesn't ask for personal information, and keeps your games and stats on your own device. The only things that leave it are anonymous usage stats (which you can turn off) and the data needed by the Apple and advertising services described below — and personalised advertising is your call.
1. Who is responsible
The data controller is Marcos Novo, the independent developer of the Rumming app. You can get in touch at any time at marcosnovo@gmail.com.
2. Data that stays on your device
The app stores this information locally (in iOS UserDefaults) and never sends it to any
server:
- Your settings: theme, tile skin, language, number of opponents, difficulty, sound, haptics, colour-blind mode and target score.
- Your local stats: games played, wins, best score and daily streak.
- Your saved game, so you can pick up where you left off.
- Your purchases, so the app knows which content you have unlocked.
All of it is deleted if you uninstall the app.
Anonymous usage stats
To learn how the game is played (how many games are started and finished, at which difficulty, how long they last) the app sends our own server (hosted on Cloudflare) gameplay events such as "game started" or "game finished", together with a random install identifier, the app and iOS versions, the device type (iPhone or iPad) and the language. The identifier is created by the app, is not the advertising identifier and disappears when you uninstall it; the server stores it encrypted. The IP address is not stored: only the country Cloudflare derives from it. This data is not linked to your identity or used for advertising, and you can turn it off in Settings › Anonymous stats (which also deletes anything still waiting to be sent).
3. Data processed by third parties
The app uses the following services. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:
| Service | Purpose | What it involves |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob (Google Ireland Ltd.) |
Serving the ads that fund the free version. | May process device identifiers, IP address, coarse location derived from that IP and ad interaction data, in order to serve and measure advertising and prevent fraud. Google's policy. |
| Apple Game Center | Leaderboard and achievements (optional). | If you sign in, Apple links your score and achievements to your Game Center account. We never receive your email address or real name. Apple's policy. |
| Apple App Store / StoreKit | Processing and restoring in-app purchases. | Payment is handled entirely by Apple. We never see or store your payment details. |
| Local notifications | Reminding you about your daily streak, if you allow it. | Scheduled on your device. There are no push notifications from a server. |
4. Advertising and consent
The app shows a banner and occasional interstitial ads, unless you buy “Remove ads”.
- App Tracking Transparency (ATT). iOS asks whether you allow tracking across other companies' apps and websites. If you decline, ads are still shown, but the advertising identifier is not used to personalise them. You can change your mind in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- GDPR/EU consent. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you'll see Google's consent form (UMP) before any personalised ad loads. The form is shown again when your consent expires or the purposes change. In the meantime, you can limit personalised advertising from Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
5. Legal bases (GDPR)
- Performance of a contract: running the game, your purchases and your saved games.
- Consent: personalised advertising and notifications.
- Legitimate interests: non-personalised advertising, security and ad-fraud prevention, and the anonymous usage stats that help improve the game (object by turning them off).
6. Children
Rumming is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child in your care has provided data, write to us and we'll sort it out.
7. Retention
Local data is kept for as long as the app is installed. Anonymous usage stats are kept for at most 25 months. Data processed by Google or Apple is retained under their own policies.
8. Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability.
- Erase everything local: uninstall the app.
- Advertising: withdraw tracking permission in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. Buying “Remove ads” stops advertising being shown inside the app.
- Game Center: manage your data from your Apple Account settings.
- Anything else: email marcosnovo@gmail.com. We reply within 30 days at the latest.
If you feel your request wasn't handled properly, you may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or to the supervisory authority in your country.
9. International transfers
Google and Apple may process data outside the European Economic Area, relying on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and the transfer frameworks in force.
10. Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top and, for significant changes, announce it in the app itself.
